This HB Class bean (High Elevation Bean) is grown at an altitude above 4000 feet and hand picked to guarantee ripeness of every coffee cherry, this coffee bean is treated with care every action of the way.
The bean is wet processed and carefully dried to prevent taste contamination from the flesh of the cherry. It is then rested and slow roasted in little batches in a drum roaster which guarantees slow as well as roasting, thus protecting maximum taste.
After roasting it is packaged using our special exclusive product packaging system, which eliminates oxygen through flushing with inert gases. Normally coffee in standard product packaging will go stale within 2-4 weeks. Frequently withering by the time it strikes shop racks. Laird Superfood CoffeeTM by contrast, will stay maintained and fresh tasting unopened for 6 months. Our exclusive inert gas procedure decreases oxygen content to 0%, where other market standard nitrogen flush systems only decrease O2 levels to 3.5%.
